URMP Progress Review Meeting: Uttarakhand

About the Event
On 8th July 2025, the Urban River Management Plan (URMP) progress review meeting for Uttarakhand was held under the chairmanship of Sh. Nitesh Jha, Secretary, Urban Development Directorate. The meeting witnessed valuable inputs and active participation from senior officials of key departments, including SMCG, Irrigation and Flood Control, Peyjal Sansthan, and others, as well as Municipal Commissioners and Executive Officers from the six URMP cities.
The meeting provided insightful discussions on the state’s vision and priorities for river management, setting the stage for exciting developments for urban rivers in Uttarakhand.
